Priority Categories
In accordance with AHFC guidelines, clients Participating in the Weatherization Program are served in order of priority.
Category 1
Household includes a resident who is elderly, disabled, or a child under 6 years old, and the total household unit income is less than or equal to 75% of median income.
Category 2
Household includes a child who is 6-18 years old, and the total household unit income is less than or equal to 75% of median income.
Category 3
Other households with total household unit income that is less than or equal to 75% of median income.
Category 4a
Household includes a resident who is elderly, disabled, or a child under 6 years old, and the total household unit income is is less than or equal to 75% of median income and the house has been previously weatherized.
Category 4b
Household includes a resident a child 6-18 years old, and the total household unit income is is less than or equal to 75% of median income and the house has been previously weatherized.
Category 4c
Other households with a total household unit income less than or equal to 75% of median income and the house has been previously weatherized.
Category 5
Household includes a resident who is elderly, disabled, or a child under 6 years old, and the total household unit income is 76-100% of median income.
Category 6
Household includes a child who is 6-18 years old, and the total household unit income is 76-100% of median income.
Category 7
Other households with a total household unit income that is 76% - 100% of median income.
