Architecture for Extreme Environments: Danish Architecture Students Visit CCHRC

Architecture students from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Denmark spent a month at the Cold Climate Housing Research Center in winter 2019 working on new approaches to cold climate architecture and design. Their inventions ranged from spruce needle insulation to methane drilling for energy to using local materials to filter polluted air.
