CCHRC members and sponsors provide vital, sustaining support for our mission to promote and advance healthy, durable, and sustainable shelter for cold climates. Donations help fuel many projects, including sustainable prototype houses in rural Alaska, renewable energy tests, and the production of educational videos, publications and multimedia. Your contribution to CCHRC makes change happen by providing valuable support to our research efforts.
The Alaska Retrofit Information System (ARIS) is a wealth of data on housing in Alaska, including housing size, cost, energy use, airtightness, and more for over 75,000 homes across the state. ARIS provides CCHRC and AHFC valuable information about the economics of energy efficiency, the state of housing in various communities, and the success of retrofit programs in various regions.
This project builds a web-based user interface for data collection, reporting, and analysis.
